The Amron Techno Center, which was completed in 1993, is located in Tadotsu Town on aspacious 34,000m2 site. It lives up to its name, functioning as the nucleus of Amron’s steel manufacturing business. Its processing equipment and technology are unrivalled and include a 3,000-ton press capable of pressing 18m high-tensile strength steel plates, a 24-hour laser cutting line 150m in length, and an eco-conscious underwater plasma cutter. The Center serves as a powerful engineering base integrating distribution and manufacturing and is equipped with a 100-ton crane and private wharf to facilitate shipping and exports. It is also engaged in total ordering, design and manufacturing activities through tie-ups with the Takamatsu Techno Center and Amron Industrial Corporation, a subsidiary that conducts stainless and thin steel plate processes.
